Shibuya PARCO will hold “PARCO IS A THEATER”, the 5th anniversary of its reopening, starting November 15th (Friday).

About 50 years ago, Shibuya PARCO started with the theater. For 10 days during the period, under the theme of "Palco is a theater", we will send out extraordinary experiences to the world as if you had entered a theater.

From each shop, we will prepare more than 50 kinds of limited/pre-sale anniversary items, and hold a variety of events of 40 projects for the anniversary every day.

Actor Miki Moriyama was appointed as the key visual for this year with the theme of "PARCO IS A THEATER".

It expresses a "theatre" world view from the visuals that dynamically cut out the appearance of dancing violently in the dark.

On November 17th (Sun), "PARCO PUBLISHING 50th ANNIVERSARYCULTURE TALK & MARKET collaboration with McGuffin" will be held at Shibuya PARCO 10F and ComMunE. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of PARCO's publishing label, which has been offering a variety of cultures such as art, fashion, and entertainment, the video media "McGuffin" from Tokyo, which transmits PARCO publishing and youth culture, collaborated for the first time. Artists and creators who foresee a new era will gather and hold talk sessions and market events.
