Record of pain
Established N.HOOLYWOOD
A commemorative book celebrating its 25th year
In the era of the vintage shop "go-getter" where Daisuke Obana, the designer of "N.HOOLYWOOD", was once involved in launching in the early 20s, the teacher told me, "Because I don't meet the same vintage as twice, I want to take a picture for the time being." I was told, and I continued to take old clothes I bought while traveling around the United States without seeing neither purpose nor goal. At that time, it was said that it was a painful day, but after more than 25 years, it was a scrapbook-style book with about 3,000 photos that appeared with a unique aura, called a feeling that could not be said. It is a valuable resource and an important record book that tells Obana's half-life.
"It's a painful number of pictures to turn the page. Please read it even when you are free." (From the previous one)

PROFILE
Born in 1974 in Kanagawa Prefecture. He gained experience in a used clothing store since high school, and then served as a buyer and shop manager at a famous store in Harajuku. Opened "go-getter", a select shop for used clothes that was involved in launching in 1996. During the vintage boom, he selects used clothes with strong design from the 70s and 80s and creates a number of movements. I began to question the value of the used clothes world that "the old and the better the condition, the more valuable it is," and started remakes and original development in the store.
In 2000, the shop "Misterhollywood" opened in Harajuku to develop it in earnest. The following year, the brand "N.HOOLYWOOD" was established. After presenting his first collection at the club in 2002, he participated in the Tokyo Collection. From 2010, he moved his presentation to the NY collection.
In addition to working on the brand N.HOOLYWOOD, he has been active worldwide in a wide range of creations, including supervising uniforms, security, and workforce designs for the Torch Relay of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
