PARCO Publishing was established in 1974 with a unique position of “the publishing division of fashion buildings” and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024.

At the time, Eiko Ishioka, Shuji Terayama, and Harumi Yamaguchi, who were at the forefront of the times, were used to send various books to the world, including art, literary arts, practical books, and translated versions of popular Western books. In addition, from the latter half of 1970 to the 1980s, many creators, including Shigesatou Itoi, Mizumaru Anzai, and Jun Miura, created opportunities for the world.

Over the past 50 years, approximately 1,700 books have been published. Even now, there are a lot of books that make you feel surprised. What they teach are that "sensibilities", "intelligence" and "passion" will not fade.

PARCO Publishing wants to create books and times that will remain in the world 50 years from now.
