PARCO Publishing was established in 1974 with a unique position of “the publishing department of fashion buildings” and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024.

At that time, Eiko Ishioka, Shuji Terayama, and Harumi Yamaguchi, who were at the forefront of the times, were appointed, and various books such as art, literary arts, practical books, and topical Western-language translations were sent to the world. Furthermore, from the latter half of 1970 to the 1980s, many creators such as Shigesatou Itoi, Mizumaru Anzai, and Jun Miura have created opportunities to enter the world, and we have proposed new value as a "creator's laboratory."

About 1,700 books have been published in the last 50 years. Even now, there are a lot of interesting books. What they teach is that no matter how times change, "sensibility", "intellectuality" and "passion" will not fade.

PARCO Publishing wants to create a book and an era that will remain in the world 50 years from now.
