kemio's first photo book "Kemio by Kenta"

Now that you are 30 years old, what Kemio wants to express.

Kemio is a digital creator based in Tokyo and is currently based in New York. The painful word sense, which flows back and forth between the Internet culture and the global sense of fashion, blows away people's worries and is widely known throughout the world as a base for the hearts of various people regardless of generation.

Until now, he has published two essay books, "Eternal Runway to Our Coffin" (2019) and "Let's return the soil normally unless we properly protect our Men Tal hygiene" (2021), and this time he published his first photo and visual book.

The photographs taken by a friend and photographer Mirei Kuno in Tokyo and New York can be seen by the natural face that can only be seen because of their unforgiving relationship, and the appearance of not only the subject but also his first creative direction, etc. In addition, photos sleeping in more than 350,000 kemio camera rolls from the time of travel to the United States in 2016 to the present are carefully selected. Through photographs, we look back on the 10 years from Hatchi to the present, which is about to be 30 years old, and will lead to the future we want to walk in. An emotional and miraculous book.

――I like the word Nostalgia the best in the world. It's natural to get older, but I'm scared when I realize that the speed of time is fast. I think this has increased since I made the second book. So, as I sometimes feel "now" again in the future, I started making a small way back to Nostalgia where I could take pictures, write a diary, put on perfume, make a back-up, and know that eternity would not last forever. By returning to a nostalgic feeling and place, I reached the age of 30 if I realized it in balance with the "now", which is passing at a tremendous speed. I wanted something for myself. I wanted to know myself, wanted to recognize myself, wanted a place, cosplayed myself, and started living in the United States at the age of 20 without thinking about anything. I was uploading my daily life on SNS, but is this life a performance? There was an honest time to think about it. But life is not something to explain or convince anyone, and when I was making this book, I gradually seemed to think so, and it was exciting to regain the real feeling of living. Maybe this book was something I wanted to leave for myself. I can't say I love everything, but I'm grateful for everything.
